Serious Sanctura XR Side Effects

Some side effects with Sanctura XR, while occurring infrequently, are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Severe constipation
  • Worsening of glaucoma
  • Difficulty passing urine
  • Confusion
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including an unexplained rash, hives, itching, wheezing, and unexplained swelling.
 

Rare Sanctura XR Side Effects

There are other, less common Sanctura XR side effects that can occur. These side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people taking Sanctura XR. For these side effects, it is difficult to tell whether the side effect is caused by Sanctura XR or something else.
 
These less common Sanctura XR side effects include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Blurred vision
  • Hard stools
  • Back pain
  • Drowsiness
  • Dry skin.

You may experience some or none of the Sanctura XR side effects listed in this article. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried. Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects while taking the drug, or if something "just does not seem right." While it may not be a side effect of Sanctura XR, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
