  • Are allergic to Gelnique, oxybutynin chloride, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.

  • Have difficulty passing urine (known medically as urinary retention). This is often caused by conditions such as an enlarged prostate.
