Detrol Uses in Children

Detrol is not approved for use in children. In studies, treating children with Detrol LA (the long-acting form of Detrol) increased the risk of aggression, hyperactivity, or abnormal behavior. Talk to your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using the drug in children.
 

Off-Label Detrol Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Detrol for treating something other than an overactive bladder. At this time, there are no universally accepted off-label Detrol uses.
