Detrol and Breastfeeding

At this time, it is unclear if Detrol and breastfeeding is a safe combination, because researchers don't know if the medication passes through breast milk in humans. When Detrol passed through breast milk in mice, it slowed weight gain in baby mice. It is unknown if Detrol® (tolterodine tartrate) passes through breast milk in women. The manufacturer recommends that women avoid breastfeeding while taking the drug.
